Take a look at my resolutions I put down at the beginning of this year.



1. I want to lose weight. I must lose 5kg by June 2007.

Talk about losing weight.
Feeling damn loser about it.
I haven't lost any.
In fact, I gained. :(

2.I want to learn vibrato. & of course improve more in playing the oboe. & train until I can be in tune forever.

I think I improved, like expressing the music better.
ntonation was maintained.
Vibrato? Hahaha.
I can do it, like shit. :/ Try harder this year.


3.Get to know more bandmates better, and like talk to them more.

Yeah. I did.

Got to know our previous leaders more, and they really helped us a lot, especially when we just took over and were sturggling with almost everything.

Got to know Tianji better. Sectionals are cool cos of him. Crapped a lot. OBOES BOULDERS!

Got to know people like Youjing, Liling, Dolly, Shannon, Zhiyang, Chonhei, Fiona, Edward, Jessica, Theresa, Theckyee, Yici, Jonathan, Venus, Atika, Chris, Ivan, Yanqing, Shermine, David, the Ex-cos, SLs etc etc.
Some of these people are people who'd I've never talked to in my whole Sec 1 and 2 life.
Be it working together with them for the TW Trip, or all the diff activities and all that, it was great knowing and working with you guys.


4. Love 3/3`07 like I love 2/5`06.

Well...What can I say?
Change of classmates was super exciting initially.
As we got comfortable and settled in, well yeah,
I guess we learn how to tahan each other and all that.
The year was quite satisfying.


5. Learn to organise my time properly, so that I can handle my school work + band + personal time well.

Done that.
I think I handled it quite well.


6.Make an effort to talk to my family members more.

Yeah, I'm talking to my bro more.
Think he's gotten cooler after the whole NS thing.


7.Visit Bibiana often, and make sure she doesn't get bullied. :D

Aiya, get bullied by who?
More like she bullies.
Hahaha, glad she's doing well in her class.


8.Stop destroying my shoes in less than 6 months.

Well, I've got 2 pairs of shoes now.
I'll rotate among them, so they'll last longer. (:


9.Use my brain more, and stop acting rashly.

I guess sometimes you just can't control lah.
I tried. At least I act with plans now.


10.To not spend unnecessarily, save more money!

Half done, half not done.
Going to take this way more seriously from now on.
For the sake of my business. :D

To Youjing & Liling:

I've really enjoyed working with the two of you.
We've got officially 2 months to go.
I'm sorry for all the times I do stuff without
getting your opinions first and all the stupid stuff.
I'm sorry for the times I throw my temper and all that.
I'm really glad to have you both to work with on like everything.

Even though we have to deal with loads of stuff and all, we kinda never fail to have fun eh? I think we should control and stop digressing during discussions.

But hey, "ogay" was a really great invention. :D
It's spreading everywhere now.

To Tianji:

Dear Junior,
It's been really nice to see you grow up and all.
From the first day you stepped into the band room,
became a part of the oboe section, until now,
you're in your long pants already!

It's been really tiring teaching you and all that,
but really, the oboe section wouldn't have been this without you.

I hope you'll start to set your own goals to work towards to,
and work hard, to become a really good oboe player.
And I hope you'll learn to teach your own junior well,
and pass on the joy and satisfaction you get from playing the oboe.

I want to be able to come back to the band room,
and hear a super beautiful oboe sound,
be it coming from you, or your junior, or your junior's junior.

To my dear Bonker`dds:

I'm really glad we're still friends.
Even though we don't really go out together as often as before,
even though we're in different classes and all now,
even though we all have our own shit to deal with,
I'm glad we're still the group of people that
we can all just get crazy together,
talk about anything under the sun together,
and rely on whenever we're troubled or need help.

Secondary school life would have just sucked big time if not for you guys.

I hope that in the future,
despite all the heavy workload and all that,
we'll still be friends and all.
I want to be able to celebrate like our 100th year anniversary or something. :D

Feel like a bloody loser now.
So uncool. To think I was overwhelmed by that teeny bit of improvement,
that I forgot control, forgot self-discipline.

Today, I went back to school to clean up the dirty band room,
which is about to get dustier thanks to the acoustic curtains.

So, after like 3 hours of cleaning, packing and vacuuming,
I was sweating like a pig.

So, I was stinky, I was super super hungry.
The bus ride home was horrible, with the empty stomach.
Made me want to puke. :(

So anyway, when I reached home,
as usual, I went onto the weighing machine.

ZOMG.

DA PRO LOST ONE FUCKING KILOGRAM.


Happy right? Happy....


Then, we had guests over for dinner.
As usual, my mum will cook all the good food lah.
And hey, guess what!

Back from Bali.

The resort was totally cool.
I'll perhaps never get another chance to stay there again,
unless my dad wins another golf tournament,
or I start earning big bucks when I grow up.

Not much shopping though,
wasn't able to find the right places
cos there weren't even signs with street names.

Other than the USD920/night resorts,
the outsides were super torn.

The beach was good.
Didn't get much sun though, cos we went in the evening.
A longer stay would have been better.


Nevertheless, cool shit. (:
